This App is dedicated to all travelers. It contains useful information to plan a walking journey, along an international historical path of about 220 km, rich in culture, breathtaking landscapes, sports and wellness proposals. A network of itineraries connecting San Bernardino to Milan, through the Mesolcina Valley, Valchiavenna, Lake Como and the Adda River. You will discover a path linked to trade between Northern and Southern Europe and vice versa: communication routes "designed" by wayfarers, traders, smugglers and armies that over the centuries have allowed men and goods to circulate despite geographical and political borders. The App " Le Vie del Viandante " allows easy orientation along the routes.The interactive map allows you to view your position on the route using the GPS of the device, even without internet connection: you can dowload the maps avoiding data usage. In case of distraction, an alarm will warn you if you move away from the route, and you can report any problems on the routes by communicating your GPS position. Points of interest along the routes are located on the map, and you can contact them directly from your smartphone.
