Four suits turn nearly every move into a trade, because a pile you break to reach a buried card can take twenty moves to put back together. Pick the level that matches the time you have. How a deal goes Cards go down in rank on any column whatever the suit, but only cards already matching in suit travel as a group. So the tableau fills with neat-looking piles that cannot be lifted, and untangling them is the real work. An empty column is the most useful thing on the board and the hardest to hold on to, and the reserve refuses to deal while one stands empty, so the timing of each deal is a decision rather than a reflex.
