A brand new app! Podcasts has been rebuilt from the ground up: faster, more modern, and your subscriptions, queue and episodes are kept. CHOOSE THE COLOUR OF THE APP - Thanks to Celeste for this idea! Give the app the colour you prefer: pick one of 16 colours, or create your own. You will find it in Settings > Interface customization. - Every colour can be previewed for free, in the light and the dark theme. Applying a colour other than violet takes a one-time in-app purchase. Every feature stays free: paid extras like this one help support an app I build in my free time. YOUR PODCASTS AS COVERS - Thanks to Xavier for this idea! Your library can now be shown as a grid of covers. Tap the "Display" icon at the top of the podcasts page to pick the list or the number of covers per row. On iPad, the grid is shown by default. - Pinch with two fingers to change the size of the covers, and to switch between the grid and the list. SEASONS AND EPISODE NUMBERS - Thanks to Thomas for this idea! The episode number now appears above the title, like "E214" or "S3 E12". - In a podcast with at least two seasons, episodes are grouped by season. AND ALSO - When you open a podcast, its cover flies to the top of the page, and back when you return. - The title of the current group stays at the top of your library while you scroll. In the calendar, tap the day shown at the top to open its menu. - New icon. - New option: the next and previous buttons of your headphones and the lock screen can move forward or back within the episode instead of changing episode.
