About
Log: Baby Solid Food & Allergy is a baby food diary and allergen tracker that helps parents starting solids keep a clear record of every food, reaction and allergen introduction by logging meals with photos, tracking 14-day allergen windows and creating PDF summaries for pediatrician visits and caregivers. Your log stays on your iPhone, with no account to create. Free to start. Premium comes with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan for eligible users. WHO IS IT FOR? Parents starting solids, from about 4 to 18 months, whether you do baby-led weaning (BLW), purees or both. Families introducing allergens one at a time. Anyone who shares feeding with a partner, nanny, daycare or grandparent. CAN IT HELP ME SPOT WHICH FOOD CAUSED A REACTION? It keeps the record that makes patterns easier to see. • Log each food with the date and time, an enjoyment rating, notes and up to 3 photos • Forgot yesterday's lunch? Log it now with an earlier date and time • Record a reaction with 9 common symptoms plus Other, a Mild, Moderate or Severe rating, when symptoms started, and photos • Add follow-up notes • Reminders 1 hour after a meal and the next morning to check for delayed symptoms CAN IT HELP ME INTRODUCE ALLERGENS ONE AT A TIME? • Choose the US (9), EU (14) or Australia/New Zealand (12) allergen list, and add your own custom allergens • Tap Mark introduced to start a 14-day window, with reminders on days 1, 3, 7 and 14 • Mark cleared when the window ends, or Mark reaction at any time • Log a food containing an allergen, such as egg or tofu, and its window starts automatically WHAT CAN I SHOW MY PEDIATRICIAN? Create a PDF summary of foods, reactions, symptoms, follow-up notes and allergen progress, to share at appointments. With Premium, choose any date range. Reports can use a different language from the app. CAN I KEEP DAYCARE AND GRANDPARENTS ON THE SAME PAGE? • The Food Status board sorts everything you have logged into Avoid, Watch, In progress and Logged OK • Print a Caregiver Alert Sheet of foods to avoid, or an Approved Foods list • With caregiver sharing, a partner or nanny logs meals on their own iPhone, synced through your own Google Drive and encrypted on your phone first. Your baby's name, profile photo and date of birth are never synced IS MY BABY'S DATA PRIVATE? Yes, by design: • No account, no ads, no analytics or tracking • Your log lives on your iPhone. We have no servers that hold it • Export an encrypted, password-protected backup, keep it where you choose, and restore it on a new phone • Backup reminders by time or number of entries WHAT IS FREE? Unlimited food and reaction logs with photos, the Timeline, the Food Status board, follow-up notes, reminders, backups, one child, 2 allergens on the schedule, the first 12 foods on First 100 Foods, sample PDF reports, and joining a caregiver's shared log. WHAT DOES PREMIUM ADD? • Every allergen on the schedule • Full PDF reports for any date range, without the sample watermark • More than one child • Starting caregiver sharing from your phone • The full First 100 Foods board, with milestone cards to share Monthly or yearly.
