Contact Prayers (Salat) Times

About

Calculate Contact Prayer (Salat / namaaz) times world-wide. The app database contains many major cities. You can choose a country and city and calculate times for the Contact Prayers (Salat / Namaz). New cities can be looked up using the "Web Lookup" feature (under More Salat options). By default prayer times are calculated for today (current day). You can also choose a different date to check timings for. Phone GPS support: You can use the phone's GPS to calculate the current location and prayer time, God willing. Qiblah (direction of prayer): Click on "More Salat options" to determine the direction of Qiblah (the direction one faces during the Contact Prayers). Other features: The app can, God willing, automatically adjust times for Daylight Savings (if one has an active Internet connection). You can add a Contact Prayer (Salat) reminder and choose options for notification under Settings. [Quran 2:2-3] This scripture is infallible; a beacon for the righteous; who believe in the unseen, observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and from our provisions to them, they give to charity. The Contact Prayers [Quran 4:103] Once you complete your Contact Prayer (Salat), you shall remember GOD while standing, sitting, or lying down. ... you shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salat); the Contact Prayers (Salat) are decreed for the believers at specific times.
