IDTheftDefense helps you protect your identity and online privacy. You must be an IDTheftDefense member to use the IDTheftDefense app. IDTheftDefense® is a product offered by Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. ("LegalShield") through contractual agreement with Primerica Client Services, Inc. With IDTheftDefense you receive identity and online privacy protection services so you can monitor more of what matters and receive consultation and restoration services in the event of identity theft. MONITOR — More of what matters The IDTheftDefense® plan monitors your Personally Identifiable Information (PII), not just your Social Security number, credit cards and bank accounts. It monitors much more. If any change in your status is detected, you receive an alert. CONSULTATION — When you need it IDTheftDefense identity specialists are available to provide consultations on an unlimited number of identity-related issues or concerns. You don’t have to be a victim of identity theft to take advantage of consultation services. Talk with an identity specialist when you have questions about a recent data breach or receive a suspicious email or phone call. You can even get tips for proactively protecting your personal information. RESTORE — Your identity IDTheftDefense members have access to consultation services provided by our licensed private investigators if an identity theft event does occur. The investigator will do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to restore your identity to its pre-theft status. IDTheftDefense® is a product offered by Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. Neither Primerica Client Services, Inc., nor its officers, employees or sales representatives directly or indirectly provide identity theft protection, restoration services or advice. LegalShield provides access to identity theft protection plans. Identity theft protection plans provide access to monitoring, consultation, and restoration services. An Identity Fraud Protection Plan is underwritten and administered through American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida, an Assurant company. LegalShield is not an insurance carrier.
