In the first phase, each trick decides who wins the face-up card from the deck. In the second phase, both players use their final hands to win as many tricks as possible. Players must follow suit if they can. If they cannot follow suit, they may play any card, including a trump card. Scoring depends on your chosen mode. In Last 13 scoring, only the endgame tricks count. In Every Trick scoring, the whole round matters.
