Listing changes AppTracker has observed for this app in this storefront — new versions, price moves, rating shifts, and store copy.
Notifications are here. Joontos now tells you when a new trip matches yours, when someone asks to ride with you, when they say yes or can't make it, when a message arrives, when your driver sets off, and when someone marks the money settled — so you don't have to keep opening the app to find out. You can also turn down a ride request instead of leaving someone waiting, and delete a trip you've posted once you no longer need it.

About
Joontos is carpooling with the neighbors you already share a commute with. You browse real people going your way, pick who you want to ride with, meet at a corner, and split what the gas costs. That's it. You choose. Not an algorithm. Joontos doesn't assign you a stranger and tell you to get in. You see who is going your way and you decide. So does the other person. A ride only happens when both of you say yes. No money moves through the app. Joontos works out a fair split of gas and wear for the trip, and then gets out of the way. Whatever you and your neighbor already use to send each other money, use that. Joontos doesn't take a cut, because Joontos never touches it. Nobody is working here. The person driving is not a driver. They were already making the trip. This isn't a job, there is no fare, and no one is a customer. The car's location, only while it's coming. While a ride is live, the driver's location is shared with their rider, so nobody is standing on the wrong corner wondering. The rider's location is never shared with anyone. When the ride ends, the driver's location is deleted. In English and Spanish, properly. Not a menu translated at the last minute. The whole app, both languages, written for people who speak them. Built for Los Angeles, for the drive everyone here already makes.
