After the app is installed the user can access the HTML version of the AIP whether the mobile device has internet connection or not. The user should see if there is an active internet connection or not and the user can control what data is downloaded and stored on the device. Saved PDF files are available without internet connection. Documents can be marked as favourites which facilitates access to important data. It should also be easy to search the content of the AIP and NOTAM. The user is responsible for updating the app but notifications of new versions should appear in the app.
