This App, which operates without an internet connection, helps find and identify plants. When you give the App information about a plant, such as its location, flower color and the time of year, the App will quickly show you which plants match your selections. The App includes 2,825 species of plants found in Alberta. Overall, 1,467 are "Wildflowers", 211 are shrubs, 72 are broadleaf trees, 27 are conifers, 14 are vines, 428 are grass-like, 90 are fern-like, 304 are moss-like, and 275 are lichen.
