About
Everything a Dodgers fan checks, in one app: the news, the score, the schedule, the roster and the standings. NEWS, AND THE FAN DISCUSSION The stories that matter, written up by the Dodgers News Surge fan site (dodgers.newssurge.com): a short summary of each, a link to the original article, and a Discuss button showing how many fans have commented. Filter to injuries, roster moves or rumors, or see every headline about the team from publishers across the web, with repeats of the same story grouped. THE GAME The game in progress, refreshed every minute: the score, the inning, the count, who's on base, the line score and the last play. Before the game, a countdown to first pitch in your own time zone, the probable starters and where to watch; after it, the final with the winning and losing pitchers. Every game has its own chat thread on the fan site. SCHEDULE AND TEAM The whole season month by month, with results and scores, home and away. The roster with every player's season stats, sortable tables for batting and pitching, the NL West and the playoff picture, and the latest roster moves. YOUR PLAYERS Follow your favorite players: their news gets its own feed, and a notification when there is some, at most once a day each. Or get the final score after every game, and roster moves, injury news or rumors as they happen. A reminder before first pitch is set on your phone, for every game or just the postseason. WHAT IT CAN'T DO It doesn't stream games or play audio, and the live score lags the broadcast by a minute or two. Posting a comment happens on the fan site, not in the app. An independent fan app. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the Los Angeles Dodgers or Major League Baseball. News is written by the publishers it links to. Free, with a single banner ad. A one-time purchase removes it.
