The Nernst/Goldman Equation Simulator provides a visualization of the Nernst and Goldman potentials given user-defined values for the relevant parameters. Users may adjust the permeability, extracellular concentration, and intracellular concentration of potassium, sodium, and chloride ions and observe the resulting changes, in real-time, for the electrical potential difference as calculated using the selected equation. Preset values are provided for common cell types.

This app has been updated by Apple to prepare for watchOS 27 compatibility. No new features are included. Users can now save custom measurement presets for later use. A knowledge base has been added to assist in understanding the concepts behind the Nernst and Goldman equations.
