Using the app is easy. Tap PUSH when the ball is thrown, then tap RELEASE when it is caught. With its simple operation, anyone can measure ball speed anytime. The app supports baseball, Little League, and softball, and lets you customize the throwing distance to match different playing conditions. It’s perfect for pitching practice, youth baseball, playing catch with family, or simply challenging friends to see who can throw faster. Because the measurement distance can be customized, mAx can also be used for other sports involving a ball, such as measuring the speed of a soccer shot. The displayed speed is an average speed, so it may differ from the peak speed shown on TV broadcasts or professional radar systems.
